This is my blog for Gameplay Prototyping at Abertay University, 2017/2018 Term 2.
I'm Jordan Martin, a 3rd year GDPM student at the university of Abertay.
In this first week of the blog, we're asked to consider what type of game we'd like to look into for going on with this module.
For me personally, I've been experimenting with roguelike games in my spare time, with regard to trying to do artwork and trying to design-documentation relevant to the overall genre / type. To this end, I'd like to try experimenting with core mechanics of this genre, such as how to approach player feedback on games with such depth, the map-generation (and the many ways it has been done in the past), and overall handling of the bulk of such a game.
